Suri Bhagavantam (1909–1989) was a prominent Indian physicist who made significant contributions to the field of science and technology in India. He is best known for his research in physics and his contributions to radar technology. He was born in 1909 in India. He pursued his higher education in physics and became a well-respected figure in the scientific community. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Madras under the guidance of renowned physicist C. V. Raman.
